Spin-off company provide solutions for world’s premiere robotics competition

The spin-off company Algoryx Simulation has been contracted to provide solutions for physics simulation to the world’s premiere robotics competition, World Robot Challenge held at the World Robot Summit, Japan.

New Research Council grants worth SEK 152 million

The Swedish Research Council distributes SEK 152 million to 42 research projects at Umeå University in the arts and humanities, social sciences, medicine and health, natural sciences and technology, as well as educational science.

The project Umeå Lunar Venture at Umeå University, which will be first in the world to measure the electric field of the lunar surface, were paid a visit by Discovery Channel. The American tv channel is doing a piece on the group’s work on developing measuring equipment for the lunar venture.
